Showcasing artists keen to explore the boundaries between abstract and figurative and/or the cross over of traditional techniques with the digital tools of computer and photography.

Marianne Nix

Marianne is interested in exploring legacy and ideas, combining traditional media techniques such as Cyanotype alternative photography with oil paint glazes and the use of digital tools on the computer to create luminous experimental artworks.

martin davidson

Particularly interested in exploring the relationship between positive and negative mark making Martin is looking at the borderline between the figurative and abstract in his beautiful nature inspired woodcut and linocuts.

sandra von haselberg

Sandra seeks to achieve idealised, almost immersive views of the world, using the sky and horizon to position the viewer in a peaceful vantage point. Her style references that of the graphic novels she grew up with – like those by Moebius (Jean Giraud) and Herge among many others.

jukka kettunen

Jukka takes traditional subjects and gives them a modern narrative. He uses a variety of media: from acrylic paints and stencilling to spray painting and image transfers. Constantly sourcing new techniques to create multiple layers and textures these ongoing innovations, combined with his love of traditional fine art and modernist Scandinavian designs, results in highly expressive, beautiful work.
